Now With More Fishys!
Our 10 gallon tank was a guppy tank housing 4 males and 8 females. Unfortunately, they all began dying off and all we have left is a very lonely fry. I did some research but couldn’t figure out what would be killing them since we hadn’t introduced any new ones. They would be fine one day and the next morning they’d be dead. Hopefully the fry will survive but if not, we’ll do a complete cleaning of the tank and start over in the future.
This is a 40 gallon bow front tank we got off Craigslist (thanks to my addiction to it). This was taken when we first filled with with water. There are more decorations in it now. It also contains:
1 Senegal Bichir
1 Rainbow Shark
1 Oto
1 Pleco (Possibly a female Bristlenose)
4 Gouramis (1 each of Blue, Gold, Pearl, and Opaline)
6 Cherry Barbs (2 male, 4 female)
I’ll get a newer pic of it once we get the water cleared up some, it’s rather green right now. We’re treating that with partial water changes and think 2 more or so should clear it up.
Zoe is such an attention whore. She will sit down on my laptop, bat at the screen, etc. until I sit it down. Then she stretches out in my lap and kneads my legs happily. I can tell when she’s really happy or sleepy because she begins “nursing” on the blanket. As far as I can tell, because she was separated from her mom so early she still has that habit and probably will for the rest of her life.
